There are two main ways to renew your maid’s Work Permit in Singapore:
1. Renew through a licensed maid agency
2. Renew the Work Permit on your own

Option 1: Renewing Your Maid’s Work Permit Through a Maid Agency
This is the most convenient option for busy employers.

Employers may also choose to renew the Work Permit directly with MOM. If you decide to do this, here are the key steps involved.
Step 1: Confirm Renewal Terms With Your Maid
Before starting the renewal process, confirm that your maid:
- Agrees to renew for another two-year contract
- Is comfortable with the updated employment terms

Step 2: Purchase Maid Insurance

Step 3: Submit the Work Permit Renewal via MOM

MOM typically sends a Work Permit renewal notice about 8 weeks before expiry. Once you receive this notice, you may proceed with the renewal immediately.
